18 Reasons invites you to Master Chefs at Home on May 15, 2024 to raise much-needed funds to support our free community programs.
Up to 325 guests will meet program graduates, hear inspirational speakers from the 18 Reasons community, mingle with like-minded philanthropists, bid on live auction items, and enjoy a chic family-style feast. Will you join us and help secure the future of 18 Reasons?
Every year, Master Chefs at Home raises $400,000 to combat food insecurity in the Bay Area by:
◆ Teaching families how to cook delicious, healthy food
◆ Delivering free groceries and weekly hands-on nutrition education
◆ Helping diabetes patients improve their health through home cooking
◆ Providing prenatal and postpartum care and nutrition to Black and Latinx parents
The night begins with a cocktail party — a live band provides the soundtrack for your voyage from Malaysia to Italy as you sample unique appetizers and view live cooking demonstrations. Mixologists will be shaking up a variety of fusion cocktails, highlighting favorite flavors from around the world. Sit down for a family-style feast, and hear inspiring stories of how 18 Reasons is changing lives across the Bay Area.
